For girls like me, who cannot be bothered to do a weekly mud mask (or whatever), because you feel lazy or just do not want to lie in bed not being able to do anything for 15-20 minutes, cetaphil is for you! You can use it as your normal daily facial cleanser, or spread a layer of the lotion on your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes, rinse off with tepid water thereafter. Your skin feels surprisingly soft!! The bumps (oil clogs? pimples?) on my face have seem to be slowly fading away. I hope this is what is happening and that I'm not subconsciously thinking that is the way it should be. Hahaaa! But worth a try! Think you can get cetaphil from the pharmacy in Singapore? I've heard of cetaphil aspirin mask (crushing aspirin pills and dissolving in cetaphil), yet to try it though, and apparently it freaking works! The crushed bits of aspirin pills can double up as an exfoliant (bonus!). I need to zap away those @#$%#&$ damn pimples and blackheads now.

It's getting chilly at night (20 degrees) and I feel like snuggling under the covers for ultimate comfort! But I've another assignment due this friday. *grumbles* Been raining, I hope the sun will come up soon. I freaking need a tan.
Attended the school's career fair and it struck me that I'll soon be joining the rat race where only the fit survive. Am considering of a career in hongkong (my absolute favourite place), or a teaching (english) job in japan (although I highly doubt I'll go into it), or some job exciting/interesting (and pays well) enough to keep me in australia (preferably sydney), or lastly, and the most realistic of all, back to singapore to compete with the ntu/nus/smu students (major sigh). About time I start getting into the job hunt, do up resume and cover letters. Not forgetting planning for roadtrips/shopping trips/snowboarding trip/whatever!!! whoopeee!

I seriously need to kick this procrastinating habit of mine. I dunno why each time I attempt to do my essay, I will drift away silently. Either the bed is way too tempting or I’ll end up msn-ing through the night. No discipline, no determination, no sense of urgency. Can’t wait for friday before I head off to enjoy.
Oh btw I so love ek’s new scooter! It’s uber cute! Makes me wanna learn riding a bike and get a super cute scooter that totally screams vintage. I tell you this will never materialize. Like me learning to ride in bloody-hot-singapore?!? Crazy weather and how to pass!

What I like about australia is the shopping. Expensive tho, but definitely nicer and better quality than those you find at far east plaza (in my opinion at least). Went shopping at the direct factory outlet and found this grab top that I set eyes on at ck tangs when I was in singapore that cost a hefty sgd90(!!). At aud30 it was so beckoning me to get it! How not to say no? Plus I got a pair of black skinny jeans from dotti for 10 freaking bucks, slashed from the original price of aud69.95. Can you actually believe it? I love cheap bargains.
Oh yah yiwen and I found a lizard in our apartment. A fucking bigass liazard! Ewwwwwww… How disgusting! She was freaking out that the lizard was making its way to her room. Hahaha. After a few minutes and screams later, philips and ek managed to subdue that disturbing slimy pest. God bless the guys. How can we girls survive without them.

Bye Singapore. Hello Brissyland!
School has not even started, and I can feel the pressure. My room is in a big mess and I’m still living out of my suitcase. My 3G phone is fucking not working and my sim card is not compatible to my v3. This is so irritating!

It's friday and I'm leaving tomorrow night!!! Back to school and essays. :(
I still have so much more to pack. Dental appointment, hair salon tomorrow. A million and one things to do. But somehow I always leave things to the end. Definitely a procrastinator!

Every year this time I would see so many lovey dovey couples strolling hand in hand with bouquets of flowers, and the overwhelming number of secondary school/JC students with little teddy bears and roses at the malls. Oh god! So being the very single us, we, the Lonely Hearts Club (LHC) organized our annual gathering. This time round dinner was Hot Stones @ Clarke Quay, which had poor customer service (promptly ignored our side dish) and left us smelling like a ‘walking beef’.
We moved on to this Arabian-inspired bar called the Marrrakesh Moroccan Lounge. Cool place with chic décor. You can shisha all you want too! Totally recommendable to friends and couples to visit that place! They have swings for the latter to cuddle, and comfy sofa seats to lounge and chill.
On the way home, Aly, Scott and I decided to drop by Hong Kong Café for supper. Had a big bowl of macaroni soup with pork chop, ham and egg to myself. To top it off, was a big glass of iced milk tea. Bloody sinful I tell you! But it was sooo satisfying. Beats having instant noodles at home.
In a nutshell, a well-spent Valentines Day with good friends!
Oh yah, I want to say that Jarhead is such a good movie. I think everybody should go watch it. Jake Gyllenhaal is so hot in it! Watch it for the crude jokes littered with expletives, Jake’s booty shaking action, sexy bald-headed marines and whatnots. Ooohhlala! Casanova is pretty good too with another hottie Heath Ledger. Next show on list is definitely Brokeback Mountain. :)
